Warehouse & Field Operations Specialist (Craft Beer Industry)

Overview

Brewery Rigging & Warehouse Specialists play a critical role in supporting both our in-house operations and on-site brewery projects across the country. This hybrid position combines warehouse and inventory activities with hands-on fieldwork, including decommissioning, rigging, palletizing, and transporting brewery equipment such as fermenters, brewhouses, tanks, canning lines, boilers, walk-in coolers, and specialty machinery. Based out of our Indianapolis warehouse (southeast side, off I-74E), this full-time salaried role is ideal for someone who is passionate about the craft beer industry and excited to work both locally and on the road. Travel is required approximately 4–8 days per month. **TRAVEL EXPENSES ARE ALL COVERED.

Key Responsibilities

• MUST HAVE excellent forklift skills • Assist with loading, unloading, and positioning large brewery equipment in the warehouse and on job sites • Perform rigging tasks using forklifts, pallet jacks, straps, dollies, and lift systems • Support disassembly and reassembly of brewery equipment during installs, removals, and relocations • Travel across the U.S. to assist rigging teams on active brewery projects • Manage and maintain warehouse inventory, ensuring accuracy across internal systems and online listings • Keep warehouse organized, equipment staged, and ready for transport or project use • Secure equipment for transport and ensure safe, efficient site operations • Follow direction from warehouse manager, lead riggers and contribute to a clean, professional work environment

Ideal Candidate

• Passionate about the craft beer industry 🍻 • Comfortable with physical labor and working around heavy equipment • Mechanically inclined and eager to learn rigging and brewery systems • Open to regular travel (4–8 days per month) and working in new environments • Highly organized with attention to detail, especially in inventory management • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented • Safety-minded with strong communication skills

Requirements

• Ability to lift 75+ pounds regularly • Valid driver’s license • Proven experience operating forklifts (required) • Experience with tele-handlers, skid steers, lifts, or similar machinery preferred • Prior rigging or industrial equipment experience is a plus

Brewery Rigging Specialist

Brewery Rigging Specialists are in charge of decommissioning, rigging, palletizing, and loading equipment such as fermenters, brewhouses, tanks, canning lines, boilers, walk-in coolers, and specialty machinery. This role combines professionalism, mechanical ability, and physical work in breweries, distilleries, and manufacturing environments.
